CHINESE FILM PROJECT Jan. 25, 2016 Here is a Chinese film project I would like you to consider. The format is pretty easy. It should be pictures of Taiwan scenery, scenes around the island, etc. (I beleive you have many of these on file) . . . and then the Chinese lettering is overlayed on top of that. Then you have a simple music-track in the background. Initially here on Jan. 25, 2016, I have done over half of the graphics of the Chinese lettering. They are in jpg format, so I don't know what format you prefer. I have drawn a small yellow line on the right side to indicate the page breaks. VIDEO SAMPLE Here is a sample of something done in this fashion, and you can see how they do the "transitions" between scenes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Q9P4Hj8AF0 Notes: There is a little bit of a "panning" or "zooming" of the images on the screen. This produces a nice effect. Additionally, there are attractive "transitions" ("wipes") between scenes. There is no real overall theme to the scenes, they are more or less random pictures. Of course, for my series I would hope to have photos that have Taiwan imagery. UPPER LEFT CORNER In this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Q9P4Hj8AF0 the production team has placed the Channel title name in the upper left corner. I also have a small symbol which shows the Channel title name I will want to use. I will find that here in the next day or so. MORE VIDEO SAMPLES Here are more sample videos in this style -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDC0_STdP8U&list=PLBWqGFh2lkgFpb5SE5Vj-qiikIplrf2kT I think that perhaps I have more Chinese characters on some pages than the typical styling done in these samples. TIMING For the timing of the Chinese character data on screen, I think that five characters for one second is about right. So, ten characters would be shown for two seconds. Fifteen characters would be shown for three seconds. etc. Thirty five characters would be shown on screen for seven seconds. (I am not counting periods, commas, quotation marks, etc.) LENGTH I estimate the entire length of this video to be less than ten minutes. SPECIAL NOTES I think that for some pages where there is only one line of text on the screen, you can just roll that text up, and up, (off the screen), and then overlay the next page of Chinese character data on the same (picture) page . . . . . This is especially true for the five numbered items on text-items6.jpg These could use the same page, . . . . just rolling the text up PRICE QUOTE Please let me know what you think and give me a price quote for this project. And how long it would take to complete. CONTENT GRAPHICS I think I can finish the rest of the text content graphics in the next day or so. That will be text-items7 to text-items11
