Current Political Status of Taiwan

The current political status of the Taiwan cession is not an internal affair of China, it is an insular affair of the 1952 San Francisco Peace Treaty (SFPT) and the 1979 Taiwan Relations Act (TRA). A tentative arrangement for the final status has been made by the US Commander in Chief Mr. Nixon in the 1972 Shanghai Communique and is standard operating procedures in paragraphs 353 and 354 of (US Army Field Manual) FM 27-10 for finalization of such insular status within the military powers.

If the native Taiwanese people do not like Mr. Nixon's arrangement, they should form their own civil government, and then petition the US National Security Council, Dept. of State, Dept. of Defense, Dept. of Justice, White House, CIA, and other relevant agencies for permission to issue ID cards and travel documents under US administrative authority. In this way they can begin to clarify their human rights under international law and the US Constitution.
